Anne Geddes nasceu na Austrália em 1956. Depois de diversos empregos nas mais variadas áreas, Anne dedicou-se à fotografia, bem como ao design e venda de roupas de bebé. Em 1998 fundou com o marido a Geddes Philantropic Trust, uma associação de beneficência que luta contra os maus tratos infantis. Anne conquistou vários prémios de fotografia ao longo da sua carreira, destacando-se, em 2009, o Lifetime Achievement Award, da Professional Photographers of America. Está traduzida para 24 línguas.
