Anna McPartlin nasceu em Dublin, em 1972. Estarás sempre Comigo é o seu primeiro romance, inspirado na própria experiência de perda da autora e na capacidade de sobrevivência necessária para superar os desgostos da vida. Em 2007, foi vencedora do prémio Revelação do Ano nos Irish Book Awards.
Anna McPartlin viveu parte da infância em Dublin, até se mudar para Kerry, na adolescência, onde foi criada pelos tios. Após concluir o ensino secundário, entrou para a faculdade onde estudou Marketing, mas manteve o seu amor pela stand-up comedy e pela escrita. Enquanto trabalhava nas artes conheceu o marido, Donal. Atualmente vivem em Dublin.
