Anna McPartlin was born in Dublin in 1972. You will be always with me This is her first novel, inspired by the author's own experience of loss and the resilience needed to overcome life's disappointments. In 2007, she won the Revelation of the Year award at the Irish Book Awards.
Anna McPartlin spent part of her childhood in Dublin, until she moved to Kerry as a teenager, where she was raised by her aunt and uncle. After finishing high school, she went to college where she studied Marketing, but maintained her love for stand-up comedy and writing. While working in the arts, she met her husband, Donal. They currently live in Dublin.
