Anita Prestes

Anita Leocadia Benário Prestes é uma historiadora brasileira, filha dos militantes comunistas Olga Benário Prestes e Luís Carlos Prestes. É doutora em História Social pela Universidade Federal Fluminense, professora do Programa de Pós-graduação em História Comparada de UFRJ e presidente do Instituto Luiz Carlos Prestes. Autora da ambiciosa biografia política, Luiz Carlos Prestes: um comunista brasileiro (Boitempo, 2015) e do livro Olga Benario Prestes: uma comunista nos arquivos da Gestapo (Boitempo, 2017), além das suas próprias memórias: Viver é tomar partido (Boitempo, 2019). Assina o artigo "Luiz Carlos Prestes e a luta pela democratização da vida nacional após a anistia de 1979" publicado no livro Ditadura: o que resta da transição? (Boitempo, 2014), organizado por Milton Pinheiro.
