Angela Sommer-Bodenburg

Angela Sommer-Bodenburg nasceu em Reinbek, perto de Hamburgo, Alemanha, em 1948.
Estudou Pedagogia, Sociologia e Psicologia na Universidade de Hamburgo, trabalhou durante doze anos como professora primária e é escritora e pintora desde 1984.
Em 1992 mudou-se para os Estados Unidos, onde vive com o marido e os seus dois cães.
Já publicou mais de 40 livros, 20 deles na série O Pequeno Vampiro.
Os seus livros estão traduzidos em mais de 30 línguas.
