Andy Puddicombe
Andy Puddicombe is a meditation and mindfulness expert. He is one of the founders and spokespeople for Headspace, a digital health platform used by over two million people in 150 countries. In his early twenties, while pursuing a degree in Sports Science, Andy decided to travel to the Himalayas to study meditation. This was the beginning of a ten-year journey that took him to various places around the world, culminating in his ordination as a Tibetan Buddhist monk.
In 2004, he returned to traditional life, in a transition that was no less extraordinary. After some time with the Moscow Circus, he returned to London, where he completed a degree in Circus Arts while conceiving the first plans for what would become the Headspace project. He has been widely mentioned in the international press, in publications such as Vogue, the New York Times, the Financial Times, Men’s Health, and Esquire. He regularly appears on television and online: BBC, Dr. Oz, Netflix, and TED.
