Andrés Trapiello

Andrés Trapiello nasceu em Manzaneda de Torío, León, em 1953. Como romancista publicou, entre outros, El buque fantasma (Premio Internacional de novela Plaza & Janés, 1992), La maladanza, Dias y noches, assim como os primeiros volumes dos seus diários, agrupados sob o título de Salón de pasos perdidos. Entre os seus livros de ensaios Clásicos de traje gris, Las vidas de Miguel de Cervantes, Las armas y las letras, Literatura y guerra civil 1936-1939 (premio don Juan de Borbón, 1995) e La noche de los Quatro Caminos. Como poeta destacam-se Acaso una verdad (premio Nacional de la Crítica) e Rama desnuda. Em 2002 ganhou o Premio Nadal com Los amigos del crimen perfecto.
