Anabela Borges é natural de Telões, Amarante. Em 2011 venceu o prémio literário "Conto por Conto", com o conto "A Tundra (cemitério de memórias)", da Alfarroba Editora. Em 2012 o seu conto "A Pergunta" foi considerado o melhor pela Pastelaria Studios Editora, valendo-lhe a edição da antologia de contos "Até Ser Primavera" (2013). Em 2014 com "As Famílias dos Animais", estreou-se na literatura infantojuvenil. Em 2015 publicou a narrativa lírica dos amores de Pedro & Inês "Os Anjos de Pedra". Em 2019 venceu o prémio de literatura infantojuvenil Ilídio Sardoeira, com o conto "Os Dias Pequenos". Tem integrado diversas coletâneas, essencialmente com contos e poesia.
