Licenciatura em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra (julho 2006). Inspetora da Polícia Judiciária (junho 2010). Diversas formações na área da criminalidade sexual e violência nas relações de intimidade. Mestrado em Estudo Sobre as Mulheres, Género, Cidadania e Desenvolvimento, pela Universidade Aberta (outubro 2022), com a dissertação intitulada "Mulheres Agressoras Sexuais de Crianças: Papéis de Género nas Decisões Judiciais", merecendo esta a nota máxima, por unanimidade do júri.
