Natural do Porto, licenciou-se em terapia da fala na ESS-IPP e desde cedo mostrou interesse pela área de pediatria, tendo, por esse motivo, realizado o seu mestrado na área de intervenção precoce na Universidade do Minho. Iniciou o seu percurso em contexto de clínica de medicina física e reabilitação, onde teve contacto com uma vasta diversidade de perturbações de neurodesenvolvimento. Em 2014, mudou-se para os Emirados Árabes Unidos, onde trabalhou num centro de desenvolvimento com uma equipa multidisciplinar o que contribuiu para mais conhecimento e interesse pelo autismo. Em 2021, inaugurou o gabinete PLAY TO SPEAK, em Alcochete, dedicado ao trabalho com crianças com PEA e suas famílias e sente que ainda é necessário um longo caminho para alcançar a inclusão.
