Ana Lígia Lira

Ana Lígia Lira nasceu em 1979 em São Paulo e é descendente de portugueses e índios. Formada em Paleografia, desenvolveu vários trabalhos de pesquisa no Centro de Antropologia da Universidade de São Paulo e foi directora executiva do Centro Brasileiro de Protecção ao Património Artístico e Cultural.
Dos seus trabalhos de investigação em aldeias indígenas resultaram os livros Eu vi um índio de jeans e celular e Sangue, suor e riqueza. As histórias ouvidas na infância motivaram-na a querer saber mais sobre os seus antepassados. Nasceu assim O Capitão dos Índios, a história apaixonante do seu tetravô Manuel Vicente da Anunciação.
