Ana Garrido

Ana Garrido nasceu em Lisboa em 1959. É professora do ensino secundário no Barreiro desde 1979. Ao longo da sua vida, participou em vários projetos desportivos e culturais na sua escola e na cidade. Escreveu, em coautoria com a psicóloga Célia Figueira, o ensaio O amor no caleidoscópio, publicado em 2020. Na área da ficção é autora da novela A cidade das gaivotas, que obteve o Prémio Literário Manuel Teixeira Gomes, no ano de 2020. Uma doce manhã de outubro é o seu primeiro romance, agora publicado, e tem como protagonista o escultor Soares dos Reis, figura maior da arte portuguesa.
