Ana Alves Costa (Porto, 1972). Arquiteta pela Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP) em 1996. Mestre em Planeamento e Projeto do Ambiente Urbano pela FAUP/FEUP em 2009. Doutorada em Arquitetura pela FAUP em 2016. Professora auxiliar na FAUP (docente desde 2003). Investigadora no Centro de Estudos de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (CEAU), no grupo Arquitetura: Teoria, Projeto e História, desde 2013.
