Alice In Chains é uma das bandas mais influentes do movimento grunge, originária de Seattle, nos Estados Unidos. Fundada em 1987, a banda é composta pelo vocalista e guitarrista Jerry Cantrell, pelo baterista Sean Kinney, pelo baixista Mike Inez e pelo vocalista William DuVall, que se juntou à banda em 2006. Com um som único e marcante, Alice In Chains é conhecida por suas letras sombrias e melancólicas, que falam sobre a vida, a morte, o vício e a depressão. A banda alcançou grande sucesso nos anos 90, com hits como "Rooster", "Man in the Box", "Down in a Hole" e "No Excuses", entre outros. Após um hiato de vários anos, a banda voltou com força total em 2009, lançando o álbum "Black Gives Way to Blue", que foi dedicado ao falecido vocalista original, Layne Staley. Desde então, Alice In Chains tem lançado vários álbuns de sucesso e se apresentado em grandes festivais ao redor do mundo, consolidando ainda mais seu lugar como uma das bandas mais importantes do rock alternativo.
