Alice Caetano tem formação em Ensino Básico e pós-graduação em Ciências da Educação. Exerce a profissão de docente do 1o ciclo. Publicou os livros de poesia e prosa poética: "Depois do Ninho, a Água", "Maçã de Zinco" e de poesia e teatro "Espelho Convexo" e ainda em coautoria: "Arranja-me um emprego", "Orgânico" e "Xafir e a Feiticeira do Pântano" (livro infantil). Participou na Antologia da Moderna Poética Portuguesa. É cronista na imprensa regional com artigos de opinião e crónicas políticas. Fez programas em uma rádio local, divulgando literatura portuguesa. Integra a direção do Grupo Poético de Aveiro e o Clube de Leitura da Biblioteca Municipal Manuel Alegre em Águeda. É ativista política desempenhando atividades de carácter executivo ao nível distrital e concelhio, e é membro do MDM – Movimento Democrático de Mulheres.
