A sua série Tales of Shells and Dust, um documentário em que as vidas de peixes, homens e do próprio realizador se entrelaçam, ganhou o Prémio de Excelência no Festival Internacional de Cinema do Canadá em 2015, além de outras dezenas de participações em festivais de cinema por todo o mundo.
