Alexandre Pastor

Natural de Luanda, filho de pais luso-espanhóis, sefarditas, Alexandre Pastor fez os seus estudos de Humanidades em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Em 1961, a convite do hispanista e lusitanista sueco Prof. Bertil Maler, é convidado para iniciar os estudos de Língua e Cultura Portuguesa, na Universidade de Estocolmo, onde lecionou durante 32 anos. Traduziu muitos autores suecos para o Português (e também variante brasileira) e é autor de quatro dicionários português-sueco e vice-versa. Conta como seus mentores: Miguel Torga, Oscar Lopes. Pessoa, Cervantes, Unamuno, Montaigne, Spinosa, Thomas Mann (e toda a família Mann), Nietszche, Stefan Zweig, Dostoiewski, Strindberg.
