Alexandra Soares Rodrigues, Professora Coordenadora Principal do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, é licenciada em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas (Universidade do Porto), mestre, doutora e com agregação em Linguística Portuguesa (Universidade de Coimbra). Escreveu, entre outras obras, A construção de postverbais em português (Granito), Formação de substantivos verbais sufixados em português e A gramática do léxico (Lincom). É coautora da Gramática derivacional do português (IUC). É ainda autora dos livros de poesia Il n’y a aucune raison de ne pas aller a Cluny, (no lugar do título há um vazio), retábulo das perguntas e Hic sunt leones (Húmus).
