Alexandra Marques

Alexandra Marques é engenheira florestal, doutorada em Economia e Planeamento Florestal, e coordena atualmente uma equipa de investigação multidisciplinar com projetos nessa área envolvendo os vários agentes do setor. Mantém fortes ligações ao mundo rural e à natureza e interessa-se pelas artes tradicionais e pelo desenvolvimento sustentável. Esse gosto pelo tradicional e o saber fazer, levou-a a aprender tecelagem manual e a procurar uma abordagem contemporânea para recriar os padrões tradicionais das mantas alentejanas.
