Alexandra Dionísio nasceu em Moçambique em 1968. Vive na cidade do Porto. Formada em Educação Social na ESEP. Amante de Artes Visuais, participou em vários concursos de Banda Desenhada. Sempre demonstrou interesse em escrever histórias para crianças, sendo Anima (Ais) a sua primeira obra publicada. Tem como referência autores como Mia Couto, José Rodrigues dos Santos.
