Alejandro Reyes
Alejandro Reyes was born in Mexico City. He is a journalist and writer. After living for several years in the United States and France, he moved to Brazil in 1995, where he worked with street children and teenagers from the outskirts of the city. He holds a master's degree in Latin American Studies. He currently collaborates with various alternative media outlets, reporting on social movements in Mexico and the United States.
He participated in the Bahian literary movement and published Street Lives and Mexican Tales. The Queen of the Roma Cinema, a finalist for the 2008 Leya Prize, is her first novel.
