Alberto Péssimo

Alberto Péssimo (Arganil, 1953) é um dos grandes pintores da sua geração. A sua pintura tem a luz e as sombras de Francisco de Goya e a fantasia de Marc Chagall. Mas também na escultura, sobretudo cerâmica, tem desenvolvido um trabalho assíduo de grande interesse.
Poucos artistas contemporâneos têm a sua versatilidade e a sua capacidade de colocar questões através da sua arte, tão cheia ela é de subtis irrigações para o mundo do espírito. Por sobre a temática muitas vezes violenta dos seus motivos ergue-se uma passagem e uma interrogação para o espírito.
