Alberto Manuel Vara Branco

Alberto Manuel Vara Branco nasceu a 8 de novembro de 1943, em Lourenço Marques (Moçambique). Professor Coordenador do Ensino Superior Politécnico, na situação de aposentação.
Tem o doutoramento em Didática da História e Tecnologia Educativa pela Universidade de Aveiro.
Dedica os seus tempos livres à pintura tendo realizado exposições de pintura, a nível individual, em Viseu, Lamego e Mangualde.
Tem várias obras publicadas na área temática da História, nomeadamente nacionalismos, e tem escrito artigos de opinião em diversos jornais locais e revistas.
Em 2009, foi publicado pela Chiado Editora o livro Faça da vida um sonho na Terra - Inscrições para o desenvolvimento interior do homem.
