Alan Cowell
Alan Cowell is a journalist for The New York Times.
He won the George Polk Prize for his journalistic coverage of the apartheid regime in South Africa, which led to his expulsion from that country. He was also nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for his foreign reporting and was awarded the Nathaniel Nash Prize.
He lives in Paris with his wife and three daughters.
