Aimée de Jongh

Aimée de Jongh (1988) trained in animation at the visual arts schools of Rotterdam and Ghent. Since then, she has written more than ten comic books and worked on five animated films.
In 2014, Aimée began working on her first graphic novel, which she also wrote the script for: Le retour de la bondrée (original title: From terugkeer van de wespendief), which earned him the prestigious Prize Saint-Michel for best comic book in 2014-2015. In 2018, he collaborated with Zidrou on the script and published a second graphic novel. "The planned obsolescence of our feelings". With Sandy days, released in 2020, was critically acclaimed and won the Bookstore Price from BD.
