Agustín Martínez
Agustín Martínez was born in Lorca, Murcia, in 1975.
A graduate in Image and Sound from the Complutense University of Madrid, he began his professional career in advertising, but writing fiction scripts for television soon crossed his path.
Currently, he alternates this work with directing programs and collaborating on the radio.
Since 1999, the year he wrote his first screenplay, he has participated in many series, sometimes as a creator, sometimes as a screenwriter.
His first novel, Monteperdido - The Village of the Missing GirlsIt was a dazzling debut with great reviews in every country where it has been published - the rights have been sold to more than ten countries.
His second novel Mala Hierba It is also being translated into several languages.
