Nasceu em 1946, em Moura. Colaborou em vários jornais e revistas e fez crítica de cinema, tendo depois optado por uma vida profissional ligada à gestão num grande grupo empresarial.
Em 2011, edita Descubra o Líder que Há em Si, a que se seguiram, na ficção, entre várias outras obras, A Voz das Pedras, O Muro ou O Fadário das Mulheres Insolentes. Participou ainda em diversas antologias de contos, em Portugal e no estrangeiro.
