Adão Cruz

Adão Cruz nasceu em 1937, em Vale de Cambra. Médico cardiologista.
Escreve desde jovem e pinta desde os princípios da década de oitenta. Escreveu vários livros, de poemas, contos e pintura: ESTA ÁGUA QUE AQUI VEM DAR (poemas e pinturas), VEM COMIGO COMER AMENDOIM (contos, ilustrados por Manuel Cruz), PALAVRAS E CORES (prosa poética e álbum de pinturas), ADÃO CRUZ - TEMPO, SONHO E RAZÃO (álbum de pinturas e texto) e NOVA PONTE SOBRE UM VELHO RIO (conjunto de três volumes de poesia, com capas sobre pinturas do autor).
Vem referido e comentado na Parte II, Vol. V, da enciclopédia "O Mundo Fascinante da Medicina". Nesta mesma enciclopédia, os seus quadros ilustram outros volumes, nomeadamente uma boa parte do Volume II da mesma Parte II.
Fez várias exposições, individuais e colectivas, em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Tem quadros seus em vários países.
