Adam Kucharski é professor associado da Escola de Higiene e Medicina Tropical de Londres, e trabalha em surtos globais como as epidemias do ébola e do vírus da zica. Membro do TED e vencedor do Rosalind Franklin Award Lecture de 2016 e do Wellcome Trust Science Writing Prize de 2012, escreve com regularidade para o The Observer, Financial Times, Scientific American e The New Statesman.
É também o autor de The Perfect Bet, onde explica como é que a ciência e a matemática estão a retirar o fator sorte da equação relativamente ao jogo.
