Abel Pereira

Nasceu em Vila Real (Trás-os-Montes) em abril de 1964 e é bancário de profissão desde 1991. É apaixonado, desde jovem, pelo contacto com a natureza (Serras do Alvão e do Marão), tendo ingressado aos 11 anos no Corpo Nacional de Escutas. Foi dirigente e, mais tarde, ingressou no Quadro Nacional de Formadores da Fraternidade Nuno Álvares (escuteiros adultos). Homem de causas, de afetos e projetos, tem dedicado uma grande parte da sua vida à área do voluntariado ambiental e social.
