Aarão de Lacerda

Aarão de Lacerda (†1947), discípulo de Joaquim de Vasconcelos, foi contemporâneo de Leonardo Coimbra, e professor na Faculdade de Letras e Escola de Belas Artes do Porto, onde foi director, com responsabilidade nas cadeiras de História da Arte e Arqueologia, além de ter leccionado na Universidade de Coimbra.

Também em Coimbra fundou a revista Diónysos, e publicou, entre outras obras, Da Ironia, do Riso e da Caricatura, 1915, além de dois estudos fundamentais: «História da Arte Portuguesa», in História de Portugal, 1929 e História da Arte em Portugal, 1942.
