A. Victor Segno
A. Victor Segno was born in 1870 and was an American mentalist who became internationally known for his studies in the field of the mind. His work flourished in the early 20th century – a long period of growth for personal development literature in the USA.
In 1904, he achieved such recognition and success that he built a monumental building on Belmont Avenue in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, which he nicknamed the Inspiration Point and which served as the headquarters of the American Institute of Mentalism.
His teachings spread throughout the world, and he personally established important work in Russia and Germany starting in 1911. However, with the outbreak of the First World War, he was forced to return to Los Angeles, where he would continue his work.
