A. Travers

A. Travers (1984), nascido no Uruguai, residente na Alemanha, é microbiólogo e estreou-se na ficção com um romance intitulado A Invenção da Gripe. A sua actividade principal tem sido a investigação, relacionada com várias epidemias que nos últimos anos alarmaram a comunidade internacional. Trabalhou principalmente sobre as epidemias da gripe e do ébola, estando actualmente a iniciar um projecto sobre o corona vírus. Nas andanças que tem feito pelo mundo, em busca de seres microscópicos, foi encontrando histórias. Uma dessas andanças trouxe-o a Portugal, onde viveu durante dois anos. Laços familiares, herdados e adquiridos, despertaram o seu interesse por várias histórias portuguesas.
