A.H. Halsey

Albert Henry "Chelly" Halsey (13 de abril de 1923 – 14 de outubro de 2014) foi um sociólogo britânico. Foi professor emérito de Estudos Sociais e Administrativos no Departamento de Política Social e Intervenção da Universidade de Oxford e membro do Nuffield College, Oxford.
Halsey "trabalhou no que chamou de tradição da "aritmética política" ao longo da sua carreira, com a dupla tarefa de documentar o estado da sociedade e abordar questões sociais e políticas através da "administração social experimental.
Apresentou as Palestras Reith anuais da BBC em 1978.
