Arnaldur Indridason

Arnaldur Indridason (born 1961) is a historian, journalist, and literary and film critic. For twenty years he worked for Morgunbladid, Iceland's most important daily, before turning to writing full-time. With translations available in more than forty languages, his novels quickly became bestsellers. His vast work has received numerous awards, including The Glass Key (2002 and 2003), awarded by the Scandinavian Association of Crime Novels, and the CWA Gold Dagger.
