Denise Mina

Denise Mina, (1966), Glasgow, Escócia. Antes de estudar Direito na Universidade de Glasgow foi enfermeira auxiliar. Investigadora académica ensina Criminologia e Direito Criminal. Escreveu uma série de short stories compiladas em diversas antologias, as quais arrebataram o galardão Crime Writers' Association Macallan Short Story Dagger. Duas das suas short stories e uma peça para teatro foram adaptadas pela BBC. Venceu o John Creasey Memorial Award na Categoria de Melhor Policial.
