Benjamin Graham
Benjamin Graham (8 de maio de 1894 - 21 de setembro de 1976) foi um economista e investidor profissional americano nascido na Grã-Bretanha. É considerado o pai do investimento em valor, uma abordagem de investimento que começou a ensinar na Columbia Business School em 1928 e que, posteriormente, aperfeiçoou com o analista financeiro David Dodd, através de várias edições do seu famoso livro Security Analysis. Graham foi mentor de alguns dos investidores de maior sucesso de hoje: Warren Buffett, William J. Ruane, Irving Kahn e Walter J. Schloss, entre outros. Buffett, atribui-lhe o mérito de lhe ter proporcionado um quadro intelectual sólido em matéria de investimento, e descreveu-o como a segunda pessoa mais influente da sua vida, a seguir ao seu próprio pai. De facto, Graham teve uma influência tão grande nos seus alunos que dois deles, Buffett e Kahn, deram o seu nome aos filhos - Howard Graham Buffett e Thomas Graham Kahn. Graham também deu aulas na UCLA Anderson School of Management.
