Well... this book definitely left me hooked, and it actually surprised me, considering what I had previously read about it ¿ Now about the plot... James, or as he is known in the streets "Hook", only has one goal in his life which is to destroy his enemy, Peter. And he has everything under control until he meets Wendy Michaels, his enemy's daughter. It is a story that explores how far you can go for revenge and what you are willing to do to protect the ones you care about. As mentioned above, I enjoyed this book. It is different from what I typicall read, but it was a nice surprise ¿

É um retelling do peter pan, onde o capitão hook e a wendy são os personagens principais e o peter é o vilão. Este livro foi uma boa surpresa, pensei que ia ser mais dark e confesso que estava com medo pois foi o segundo livro de dark romance que li, mas para quem está a começar a entrar neste género acho que esta série se adequa. Recomendo bastante para quem quer ler dark romance pela a primeira vez!!

Para quem gosta do género dark romance, este livro é sem dúvida uma boa leitura. Gostei bastante da história e do plot, que apesar de previsível, foi bom. O que menos me cativou foi a construção da relação do casal, poderia ter sido mais trabalhada e não tão apressada. Mas não deixou de ser uma excelente leitura.

Um livro de dark romance que não é para todos os gostos, mas que é de rápida leitura. É importante perceber, que embora seja uma adaptação/inspiração da história do Peter Pan, não existe propriamente uma conexão forte, somente a referência a nomes.
