SOBRE O AUTOR

Tim Minchin

Tim Minchin é um compositor de canções, pianista, cantor, comediante, ator e escritor de sucesso reconhecido internacionalmente. Concluiu o bacharelado em Artes pela Universidade da Austrália Ocidental, formando-se em Inglês e Teatro. O seu espetáculo de estreia, Dark Side, lançou-o para o olhar do público, alcançando sucesso de crítica no Festival Internacional de Comédia de Melbourne em 2005 e no Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Além das suas tournées esgotadas de espetáculos musicais e de comédia, é o autor da música e da letra do espetáculo Matilda, o Musical e de Groundhog Day, ambos distinguidos com o Olivier Award for Best New Musical. Tim é ainda o cocriador da galardoada série de comédia televisiva Upright. Vive com a família, em Sydney, na Austrália.
