It depicts what Iconsider a normal boy, Eddie, whose fantasies are almostconstant and are devoted primarily to sex and women. He isthrown together with college girls who have weird beliefs aboutrelationships between girls and boys, which they attempt toinfuse into Eddies psychic. Throughout the story, Eddie isforced to wrestle with naturally opposing forces of his prurientneeds as a male and beliefs instilled in him by his religious andethical upbringing.
