When we get to heaven, God will delight to show us off as trophies of his amazing grace and power. The fact that we are there at all will demonstrate how he has transformed us from sinful human beings into triumphant sons and daughters of the Living God. He will display us to the hosts of heaven saying, 'See what a glorious being I've made out of this one!' Whatever we were at the beginning, we will end up, amazingly, just like Jesus! However hard we may have found our Christian pathway, on THAT day we will understand that every trial was absolutely worth it and we will be able to sing with the angels, 'Amen! Blessing and honour and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honour and power and might, be to our God for ever and ever. Amen' (Revelation 7.12). This is the story of Joy's personal faith journey as she discovers that our loving heavenly Father uses ALL our troubles for one purpose - that we may know him better, trust him more fully, and enjoy an ever deepening friendship with him.
