Adam Haslett

Adam Haslett nasceu em 1970, em Port Chester, estado de Nova Iorque.
É autor da coletânea de contos You Are Not a Stranger Here, bestseller do New York Times e finalista do Prémio Pulitzer e do National Book Award.

É também autor do romance Union Atlantic, vencedor do Lambda Literary Award. Os seus livros estão traduzidos em dezoito línguas. Tem colaborado em diversas publicações, tais como New Yorker, Esquire, Financial Times e Der Spiegel.

Imagina Que Não Estou Aqui foi considerado um dos romances do ano por diversos jornais e revistas como a Time, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Elle, Buzzfeed, e distinguido com o L.A. Times Book Award.

Foi finalista de vários prémios: Pulitzer de Ficção, National Book Critics Circle Award , Kirkus Prize, Carnegie Medal, tendo ainda sido nomeado para o National Book Award.
