O autor é um especialista em História e consegue aqui descrever a época de forma completa, interessante e divertida. Tem sido uma leitura muito útil, sem ser aborrecida, ilustrada com muitas imagens. Aconselho para os fâs até de séries ambientadas neste periodo, para conhecerem melhor como era a realidade nessa altura.

Ian Mortimer

Ian Mortimer nasceu em Inglaterra em 1967. Doutorado em História pela Universidade de Exeter, tem vários livros publicados sobre História e foi distinguido com vários prémios, como o Winston Graham de ficção histórica ou o Prémio Alexander da Royal Historical Society. Membro da Royal Historical Society e da Society of Antiquaries, é um dos historiadores mais inovadores da atualidade, e o «historiador medieval mais notável do nosso tempo», segundo o jornal The Times.
