Howard Blum é um escritor e jornalista norte-americano. Ex-repórter do The New York Times e do The Village Voice, é editor colaborador da Vanity Fair. É autor de vários livros de não ficção, best-sellers do The New York Times, como Dark Invasion ou American Lightning, vencedor do Edgar Award, bem como Wanted!, The Gold Exodus, Gangland e The Floor of Heaven. Enquanto jornalista do The New York Times, foi nomeado duas vezes para o Prémio Pulitzer por reportagens de investigação. Vive no Connecticut e é pai de três filhos.
