SOBRE O AUTOR
Paul Sussman
Paul Sussman, (1966-2012), autor de vários best-sellers internacionais, era arqueólogo de profissão. Ensinou História na Universidade de Cambridge. Decidiu viajar pelo mundo durante três anos, tendo ganho a vida enquanto descobridor de túmulos, empreiteiro, vendedor de detergentes e ator. Em 1991 regressou a Inglaterra, onde foi um dos fundadores da revista The Big Issue. Desde então trabalhou como jornalista para a secção europeia da CNN, para a Rádio 4 e a GLR (London Live), e para os jornais The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Express, The Evening Standard e The Sunday Herald. Em 1997 foi nomeado o colunista inglês do ano pela Associação dos Editores de Publicações Periódicas.
Os últimos anos da sua vida, passou-o em escavações no Vale dos Reis, onde desempenhou a função de cronista oficial do Projeto de Túmulos Reais Amarna.
