Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Along some such line as that we propose to set forth the evidence — so far as that can be done within strict limits — that the Bible is the lord of God. In reply to the ques tion before us, we give a threefold answer, namely, It Seems to Be; It Claims to Be; and, It Proves to Be. The conclusiveness Of the evidence is not in any one Of these an swers taken by itself, but in the three to gether, which constitute irrefragable proof that the Bible is of divine origin, and there fore Of sovereign authority; that is, that it is the W ord of God.
