My early years in the 50s was a bad time for me, being sent to a school for bad boys in Glasgow for 18 months. Among the street wise Glasgow boys, I had a lot to learn about life. Joined the army in 1960 and I loved it for 13 years 321 days with medical discharge for hearing loss. Managed a pub for four years, was a continental coach driver.
