Catherine Barr
Catherine Barr escreveu o seu primeiro livro sobre evolução depois de ter procurado em vão um livro de ficção sobre o tema. Estudou ecologia, trabalhou com a Greenpeace durante muitos anos na área da vida selvagem, especialmente tartarugas do mar e outras espécies em risco. Fascinada pela natureza e pelo poder das palavras, estudou jornalismo e tornou-se editora no Museu de História Natural de Londres, onde era responsável por escrever catálogos de exposições. Trabalhou também com várias organizações ambientais na área da comunicação estratégica para mudanças ambientais e sociais. O seu objetivo é incentivar as crianças a envolverem-se e a protegerem o mundo natural. Continua a abraçar o desafio de colaborar com cientistas, peritos, ilustradores e editores para dar vida às suas ideias.
