The data collected from these sensors is analyzed and used to generate alerts, which can be sent to authorities, emergency responders, and citizens (directly to their smartphone). The project's ultimate goal is to improve flood prevention and mitigation efforts in the country and reduce the risk of damage to infrastructure, property, and loss of life caused by flooding.
