Dion Leonard

Tem 41 anos e é originário da Austrália, embora viva em Edimburgo com a sua esposa Lucja.
Dion não só competiu, mas também completou algumas das ultramaratonas mais duras em todo o planeta nos lugares mais inóspitos, incluindo a brutal maratona Des Sables, 250 quilómetros através do deserto do Sara, em Marrocos, e também duas vezes através do deserto de Kalahari, na África do Sul.
A última corrida de Dionpelo deserto de Gobi, na China, tornou-se algo completamente diferente quando conheceu uma cadelinha perdida, que passou a chamar-se Gobi, que o seguiu durante uma semana e que mudaria as vidas de ambos para sempre.
